Kanha National Park India
There are no tigers in the African bush. They live mostly in India, China, South Asia or Russia. They are a seriously endangered species. 100 years ago there were around 100,000 tigers worldwide, but today only 3,500 are left. They are killed for imaginary medical benefits. Nowadays there are more tigers in captivity in China and the US than in the wild. These magnificent creatures are even more difficult to track than most of the African cats. They bathe daily, mainly to remove parasites.
